The Ultimate Tour of Jordan

  * Temporary price reduuctions - please book now! *

The treasury building at Petra, one of the highlights of any tour of Jordan Where else can you be riding a camel in the desert one day, and floating in the Dead Sea the next?

Join the 'Splendours of Jordan' tour - one of the best tours of Jordan - and visit the stunning desert landscapes of Wadi Rum and the world heritage site of Petra, which is incredibly atmospheric when illuminated by candlelight. You will also visit the biblical site of Mount Nebo, and relax at the Dead Sea, at the lowest point on earth, 400m below sea level.

These escorted tours have a maximum group size of 25, and allow you to see all the main sights with enough time spent at each place. Many people also choose to extend their time on the Dead Sea.

The tour can also be arranged privately for a supplement on any day of the year which gives you more flexibility with the sightseeing - for example if you wanted to stay longer somewhere then it is much easier to arrange this with the driver - please call for details.

With special thanks to the Jordanian Tourist Board for supplying the photography for both these Jordan tours

Why this tour is Special…

  • Visit Petra by candlelight when it is at its most enchanting, and by which time most of the tour groups have gone
  • A chance to ride on horseback or in a horse and carriage to the Siq Canyon at Petra
  • You have 2 nights on the deeply relaxing Dead Sea at the end of the holiday, instead of just a fleeting visit
  • Stay in quality hotels throughout your tour
  • The people who run this tour in Jordan - one thing that is hard to put into words is just how good the guides are who actually run this tour. As you would expect they all have first class knowledge about the sites, the history, and the best places to take you, but in addition to this they have tremendous enthusiasm for the country, which comes across so well when they are telling you some fascinating stories. For example on a recent trip, our guide happened to be a former professional photographer who loved showing us his collection of pictures of his country. Even though he had visited these sites many times, every new time was special and greatly rewarding for him. It is these moments that turn a good holiday into something so much more enjoyable.
