Why this tour is such good value…
- Stay in top quality 5* Marriott hotels throughout this tour.
- The people who run the Jordan tours - one thing that is hard to put into words is just how good the guides are who actually run this tour. As you would expect they all have first class knowledge about the sites, the history, and the best places to take you, but in addition to this they have tremendous enthusiasm for the country, which comes across so well when they are telling you some fascinating stories. For example on a recent holiday, our guide happened to be a former professional photographer who loved showing us his collection of pictures of his country. Even though he had visited these sites many times, every new time was special and greatly rewarding for him. It is these moments that turn a good holiday into something so much more enjoyable.
- Maximum group size: 25.

Wadi Rum is like a moonscape of ancient valleys and towering weathered sandstone mountains rising out of the white and pink coloured sands, and offers some of the most spectacular desert scenery you are ever likely to see. It was home to T.E. Lawrence during the 1917-8 Arab Revolt, and was used for the desert shots in Lawrence of Arabia. You will see several Bedouin camps, and glimpse the desert police who ride on camels in traditional desert police robes. You may choose to ride on a camel yourself instead of in the 4x4 jeep.
